Catechists

Catechists are volunteer adults from the parish who give of their time and their talents each week from September to May. Their commitment to teach children in the parish about the wonders of God is their stewardship…their desire to give back to God for his generosity to them. We register over 1100 children for our parish program, but realistically, we would be unable to do so if not for the catechists.

We would have no parish program at all without the catechists. It is with this in mind that I ask all parents whose children participate in our parish program to consider their role as catechist. There are resources available to help you understand the role of catechist and the commitment involved. Please call the PREP office (610-489-4677 X36) with questions and for information.

jesus.jpgSaint Eleanor Parish Religious Education Program exists as a sacred connection to all the children of the parish and their families.

At this connection, we experience together some of the rich traditions of our Catholic faith.

We consider it a privilege to collaborate with parents in nurturing their children's understanding of God and His tremendous love for them.

We hope that the time invested in faith formation will reap the benefit of all families growing closer to God and realizing His presence in one another.

Supported by dedicated catechists, full-time teachers, priests, deacons, and the Saint Eleanor community of faith, may our parish children enjoy their learning.

Welcome to everyone, especially the children!
